Shrek 2: (Flick’s Review)

Cartoons_Shrek_2_001557_9Shrek is back! This time he’s getting married to Fiona. Shrek, Donkey, and Fiona go to Far Far Away to get the blessing of the King and Queen. The new bad guys are The Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming who was supposed to rescue Fiona from the Dragon. Shrek 2 is my favorite of the Shrek franchise because I like meeting all the new characters including Puss in Boots who teams up with Shrek and Donkey to battle Prince Charming and the Fairy godmother (other characters that did not appear in Shrek 1). My favorite character is Shrek ( Mike Miyers) because he always saves the day. My favorite part is when Shrek, Donkey, and Puss go into the potion factory/Fairy Godmother’s lair. I rate the movie PG for action, rude humor, and mild langauge.

MPAA:  Rated PG for some crude humor, a brief substance reference and some suggestive content.

I’m still not sure that I will go to see Shrek 4. The NY Times review likes Eddie Murphy’s performance and Donkey is my favorite (I like his humor)so I just might have to see it. Flick thanks for reminding me how good 2 is I think I will watch 1 and 2 again soon. One is still my favorite.

Donkeys voice is always the same so the new york times probably just likes hearing it again. What about Shrek 3. I think its pretty bad so hopefully number 4 will be better. Its the the darkest shrek yet says flack, I cant wait to see why. from flack
