Fantastic Mr. Fox: (Flack’s Review)

Posted on | November 30, 2009 | 1 Comment

This movie is about two foxes. The wife is about to be pregnant. When she gets her son, Ash he feels different than everyone else. When Mr. Fox steals food from the three nastiest farmers on earth it will take him, his family, Kylie (his sidekick), Badger, his nephew Kristofferson and the rest of the animal families to save themselves from Boggis, Bunce, and Bean.

My favorite character is fantastic Mr. Fox because he is funny and he comes up with good ideas to save his family. I like when he says, “Dig” to his family to get away from the farmers.

My favorite part of the movie is when they go the supermarket because it made me hungry. I liked how all the food looked.

I liked the music in the movie because it was like Peter and the Wolf. Each animal had a different instrument. For example you hear the banjo when Mr. Fox comes around.

Listen to the fantastic Fantastic Mr. Fox soundtrack.

Flack’s Rating: 5 out of 5

I rate this movie PG for action violence, mild language, romance, and moments of conversations about exploding things. This movie is not really scary – it’s more that there are alot of explosions and just some stuff kids would not understand. Some kids may find this movie boring or not very interesting or some of it too adult or violent for them. Not me, I loved it!

Nice review, Dylan. And I agree, it was a fantastic movie! I particularly like how you noticed the different music used for the different characters. I’d like to mention the wolf’s walk-on part at the end. I won’t say more, as I don’t want to ruin it for anyone, but I thought it was one of the best moments in the film.
