Where the Wild Things Are (Flack’s Review)

The story is about a boy, Max. After his snow fort is destroyed he gets very upset and runs to a forest, then sails to a place where he meets the wild things.

He meets all the wild things; Carol, K.W., Douglas, Alexander, Judith and Ira. My mom says the movie deals with many of the different emotions a kid can feel.  I think maybe the director made each wild thing be one of those emotions; jealousy, anger, fear…

My favorite character in the movie is Max because he usually thinks of good things to do when the wild things get angry.

My favorite part in the movie is when Max learns who all the wild things are and what they do.

Flack’s Rating: 4.5 out of 5

I recommend this movie for kids ages 7 and up. There are brief scary parts in the movie when the wild things argue and somtimes it is hard to understand what is happening in the story.

Dylan and Ethan, I love your new website! It’s so refreshing to hear reviews from kids about movies that are supposed to be for kids. I haven’t seen Where the Wild Things Are, but it’s definitely on my list. I think I’m going to see it in a theater even though I may get a little scared myself. I have learned to shut my eyes during scary parts if it gets to be too much.

Anyway, I’ve bookmarked your website so I can keep up with your reviews. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
